Syngenta developed this cultivar for superior resistance to aerial phytophthora, but it is still susceptible to Thielaviopsis basicola, a black root rot common among vinca, pansy, and petunia. Wilting, poor growth, and poor rooting are all potential indicators of black root rot. Use a preventative fungicide on susceptible plants, implement sanitary practices in your greenhouse, and regularly inspect your plants for signs of disease.
