Alternanthera Dentata Little Ruby Rooted Cutting Liner

For best results with Dentata Little Ruby, plant one rooted liner per 4-inch container or 3-5 per 10-inch container. Use well-drained soil with a pH of 5.8-6.2, temperatures of 74-85 (day) and 62-70 (night), and medium feed (175-225 ppm N). Pinch once at transplant. This plant doesn't typically require PGRs, however, use a spray of B-Nine at 2,500 ppm if needed. You may see spider mites, but Alternanthera isn't prone to disease.

Small white flowers bloom in fall, but this plant is primarily grown for its foliage.

Space containers for adequate airflow and sunlight penetration at the soil level of each plant.

This plant isn't prone to disease. Always take precautions in your greenhouse to prevent fungus and mildew. 

1. Water at the base of each plant in the morning.

2. Provide good airflow in your greenhouse. We recommend horizontal airflow fans.

3. Space containers to allow sunlight to penetrate to the soil level of each plant.

We recommend planting one rooted plug per 4-inch container or 3-5 per 10-inch container. Use a well-drained soil and completely bury the ellepot in the center or evenly spaced in the container. Pinch once at transplant.
