Bacopa Bluetopia Blue Seedling Tray

For best results with Bluetopia Blue, plant one rooted plug per 4-inch or five to six per 10-inch container. Use a well-drained soilless media with a pH of 5.8-6.2, EC of 1.5-2.0, temperatures of 60-75 daytime and 55-60 nighttime, and high feed (225-300 ppm N). Use a nitrate-based, low-phosphorus fertilizer. This plant is day neutral and doesn't require pinching. Use daminozide for height control if needed. Scout for whiteflies.

Space containers for adequate airflow around the base of each plant and to allow sunlight to penetrate to the soil level.

This plant doesn't typically require PGRs. In low-light or warm conditions, sprays of daminozide at 2,500 ppm will help prevent stretching.

Watch for whiteflies.

This plant isn't prone to disease, but botrytis, powdery mildew, and root rot can develop in overly wet conditions. Prevent infection by watering at the base of each plant in the morning, providing adequate airflow in your greenhouse, spacing plants to allow sunlight to penetrate to the soil level, and using a soilless growing media. 

We recommend planting one rooted liner per 4-inch or five to six per 10-inch container. Use well-drained soil and center or evenly space the plugs in the containers. Be sure to completely bury the ellepot.
