Grow in full sun to partial sun with well-drained soil and good air movement. Maintain a soil pH around 5.8–6.5 and feed with a balanced fertilizer around 100–150 ppm nitrogen.

Coral blooms make up the fragrant flower head of Sweet Coral.

You do not need to pinch this variety as they are bred to naturally produce upright stems. 

For high-quality cut flowers, use 4–6 plants per square foot. In beds and borders, space plants about 10–14 inches apart

Check plants regularly for aphids, thrips, whiteflies, and spider mites. Thrips are the primary pest to monitor during bud development because they can blemish blooms.

Maintain a regular scouting program for rust, Botrytis, Fusarium, Pythium, Rhizoctonia, and powdery mildew. Air circulation is critical because blooms can hold moisture. Water early in the day and use preventative rust protection outdoors when appropriate.

Grow one plug per 4-inch container, or use three to five plugs in a 10-inch pot for a fuller finish.
