Didelta Fancifillers Silver Strand is a succulent shrub native to South Africa. Its velvety silver-green foliage enhances containers, hanging pots, and landscape beds. Westhoff specifically developed this variety to flourish in combinations. Didelta has a semi-trailing habit of 6-10" tall and 12-23" wide. It loves the heat, resists deer, and requires little more than occasional water to add texture and visual interest to the garden. Didelta Fancifillers Silver Strand is known and grown for its soft foliage.
Didelta Fancifillers Silver Strand Selling Tips
Sell Didelta Fancifillers Silver Strand to customers looking for low-maintenance foliage to finish out a container, hanging basket, or combination landscape bed. This plant is well-suited to any sunny location and needs nothing more than occasional water to thrive even in drought. Annual foliage is semi-trailing, working well to complete large mixed containers or borders. Soft silver leaves contrast the bright and dark greens and colorful flowers in baskets or containers, providing a striking visual feast.
Coach Your Customer
1. Space plants 12-16" apart in the landscape.
2. Use a well-drained soil in a sunny location.
3. Water occasionally.
General Growing Tips For Your Rooted Cutting Liner
For best results with Didelta Fancifillers Silver Strand, plant one rooted plug per 4-inch container or 3-5 per 10-inch container. Use well-drained soil with a pH of 5.5-5.8, a 2:1 EC of less than .6, and light feed (100-150 ppm). This plant needs high light, moderate water, and temperatures of 65-72 degrees. It is not affected by any significant pests or diseases, but you should take typical precautions to prevent root rot.

We recommend planting one rooted liner per 4-inch container or 3-5 rooted plugs per 10-inch container. For small containers, completely bury the ellepot in the center of the pot. For large containers, equally space the liners and be sure to completely cover the ellepot.
Rooted Cuttings
Cuttings vary in size between different plant families. These rooted starter plants will arrive ready to be transplanted in to your final container. If they are to be used in a landscape application, you will need to establish them in a 4 inch pot or an 1801 before planting outside.

It looks like this is the first time you've added anything to your cart.
We just wanted to remind you that we are a wholesale starter plant company that sells to businesses, schools, clubs, and other non-profits. State law dictates that you must be growing for resale to order from us since we are not collecting sales tax.
If we aren't a match, we understand. It's not you, it's us.
We would look awful in orange jumpsuits.
