Blue Elf is a hybrid of Sedum and Echeveria. This tender perennial succulent, also known as Happy Plant, is native to Mexico and Central America. This variety offers blue-green foliage whose tips turn pink to burgundy in direct sunlight or drought. Upright rosettes reach 3" wide and tall with plenty of offsets. Yellow star-shaped flowers bloom on a thin stalk several times per year. Perennial and evergreen in zone 10, this plant flourishes as a houseplant or can overwinter in a sunny window in colder climates.
