Bella Rosella Selling Tips

Customers will love this plant's vibrant color and the hummingbirds and bees it brings to the landscape in containers or hanging baskets. In warm climates, Fuchsia also excels in landscape borders. Create a stunning array of color in poolside or patio containers or tropical landscapes by pairing this plant with Hosta, Lobelia, Begonia, and Heuchera.
Coach Your Customer
1. Space plants 18-24" apart in well-drained soil in a sunny or partly sunny location.
2. Water once per week or more often in dry, hot weather. Fertilize once per week.
3. This plant is perennial in zone 9-11 and can overwinter indoors in colder regions. Remove spent blooms and store containers in a cool, dry place before the first frost until after the last frost in spring. Fuchsia can be a little fussy indoors, attracting mites and aphids.
General Growing Tips For Your Rooted Cutting Liner
For best results with Bella Rosella, plant one rooted liner per 4- or 6-inch container. Use a well-drained soil with a pH of 6.0-6.5, EC of 0.6-0.9 (2:1), average daily temperatures of 65-72, and light feed (150-200 ppm N). Pinch once at transplant. This plant doesn't require PGRs. Apply moderate water and look out for rust. You may see aphids, whiteflies, and spider mites.
Flowering
Double pink flowers with a 4" diameter bloom from summer through fall.
Pinching
Pinch once at transplant.
Spacing
Space containers for adequate airflow and sunlight penetration around the base of each plant.
Height Control
This plant doesn't require PGRs.
Pests
You may see aphids, whiteflies, and spider mites.
Disease
Fuchsia can be prone to rust, a fungal infection that thrives in moist conditions and primarily affects the plant's appearance. Take a few basic preventative measures to keep your plants looking healthy.
1. Water at the base of each plant in the morning, allowing the soil to dry between waterings and avoiding getting foliage and flowers wet.
2. Provide good airflow in your greenhouse. We recommend using horizontal airflow fans.
3. Grow your plants in bright light. Sunshine is great at killing fungus!

Planting Bella Rosella Liners
We recommend planting one rooted plug per 4- or 6-inch container. Use a well-drained soil and completely bury the ellepot in the center of the container. Pinch once at transplant.
Rooted Cuttings
Cuttings vary in size between different plant families. These rooted starter plants will arrive ready to be transplanted in to your final container. If they are to be used in a landscape application, you will need to establish them in a 4 inch pot or an 1801 before planting outside.

Before we take this relationship any further...
It looks like this is the first time you've added anything to your cart.
We just wanted to remind you that we are a wholesale starter plant company that sells to businesses, schools, clubs, and other non-profits. State law dictates that you must be growing for resale to order from us since we are not collecting sales tax.
If we aren't a match, we understand. It's not you, it's us.
We would look awful in orange jumpsuits.
