For professional production, transplant one rooted liner into a 4-inch pot using a high-quality, well-drained medium. Maintain a pH between 5.8 and 6.5 and feed constantly with 175 to 225 ppm Nitrogen. To ensure high flower quality and prevent bud drop, finish the crop with daytime temperatures of 55–65°F and nights around 50–60°F. Milla White typically finishes for retail in 10 to 12 weeks from transplant. Provide maximum light levels throughout production and monitor closely for environmental stressors.

You must never pinch Milla White; it is genetically programmed to put all its energy into one magnificent central flower spike. 

For greenhouse production, we recommend a spacing of 6 to 7 inches apart on center for 4-inch pots. This spacing is vital for maintaining airflow and light penetration, which prevents the stems from stretching and keeps foliar diseases at bay.

Aphids and Thrips: These are your primary concerns. Scout your crop regularly, especially the tender developing buds, to prevent distorted blooms or stippled foliage.

Botrytis and Powdery Mildew: These often crop up during periods of high humidity or stagnant air. Prevention: Maintain excellent air circulation and avoid overhead watering late in the day. Keeping the foliage dry at night is your best defense against these fungal issues.
