For best results with Famous White Eye, plant one rooted liner per 4- or 6-inch container. Use well-drained soil with a pH of 6.0-6.5, EC of 1.5-2.1 mS/cm (SME), and light feed (100-175 ppm N). This plant is day-neutral, requires 4-8 weeks of bulking, and benefits from 6-15 weeks of vernalization at 35-41 degrees to improve uniformity and increase branching. After vernalizing, use average daily temperatures of 59-76 and light at 5,000-9,000 fc. Pinch once, and don't use PGRs. You may see whiteflies, and powdery mildew can develop.

Use a spray of Strike, Systhane (Eagle), Pipron, Terraguard, or Heritage to prevent powdery mildew.
