Scaevola Touch Indigo Rooted Cutting Liner

For best results with Touch Indigo, plant one rooted plug per 4-inch container or three per 10-inch basket. Use well-drained soil with a pH of 5.8-6.2, EC of 1.0-1.2 mS/cm, average daily temperatures of 68-70, and light feed (100-150 ppm N). Use night interruption or extended-day lighting for this long-day plant. Daminozide and paclobutrazol will control height. Watch for aphids, fungus gnats, and mites. You may see botrytis and root rot in overly wet conditions.

Blue flowers bloom from spring through summer.

Pinch once 5-10 days after transplant.

Space containers to allow air and sunlight to reach the soil level of each plant.

Spray daminozide at 2,500-3,750 ppm during finishing and use a paclobutrazol drench at 1-2 ppm if needed.

You may see aphids, fungus gnats, and spider mites.

This plant isn't prone to disease, but botrytis and root rot can develop in wet conditions. Use preventative measures in your greenhouse and a broad fungicide drench after transplanting. 

1. Water at the base of each plant, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings.

2. Provide good airflow in your greenhouse. We recommend using horizontal airflow fans.

3. Space containers so airflow and sunlight can reach the soil level of each plant.

We recommend planting one rooted plug per 4-inch or gallon container or three per 10-inch basket. Use well-drained soil and completely bury the ellepot centered or evenly spaced in the container.
