Potomac Pink Selling Tips
Potomac Pink is an excellent choice for growers looking for strong stem length, dependable flower quality, and a professional finished look. This variety brings a clean, cheerful color to bouquets, market bunches, greenhouse programs, and seasonal garden displays.
General Growing Tips For Your Seedling Tray
Potomac Pink performs best in full sun with good airflow and well-drained growing media with a pH between 5.5 and 6.0. Provide a constant feed program of 150 to 200 ppm Nitrogen using a low-ammonium fertilizer.
Pinching
We do not recommend pinching Snapdragon Potomac Pink when growing for tall, premium cut-flower stems.
Spacing
Plant Snapdragon Potomac Pink at 10 to 12 plants per square foot for cut-flower production. Proper spacing helps produce tall, straight stems and supports healthier growth throughout the crop.
Pests
Common pests to watch for include aphids, thrips, spider mites, and caterpillars. Aphids may gather on tender new growth and flower spikes, while thrips can cause damage to buds and blooms.
Disease
Common disease concerns include rust, downy mildew, powdery mildew, botrytis, root rot, and stem rot. To reduce disease pressure, avoid prolonged leaf wetness, provide good air circulation and use proper spacing.
Rooted Cuttings
Cuttings vary in size between different plant families. These rooted starter plants will arrive ready to be transplanted in to your final container. If they are to be used in a landscape application, you will need to establish them in a 4 inch pot or an 1801 before planting outside.

Before we take this relationship any further...
It looks like this is the first time you've added anything to your cart.
We just wanted to remind you that we are a wholesale starter plant company that sells to businesses, schools, clubs, and other non-profits. State law dictates that you must be growing for resale to order from us since we are not collecting sales tax.
If we aren't a match, we understand. It's not you, it's us.
We would look awful in orange jumpsuits.
