ELLEPOTS 72 TRAY

72 Ellepot trays boast the largest diameter cell of any tray that we carry. They are best used for plants that need a little extra room for either leaf structure or root development. Great for seed production, 72-cell Ellepot trays are a must have for producers of succulents, vegetable seeds, rex begonias, and many other plants that need the larger space.

We're excited to be able to offer Ellepots to other growers who wish to buy online directly from our website. These custom Ellepots are made on site, year round. Our 72-count tray uses 30 mm ellepots. If you need something smaller, please see our 105-count tray which uses a 25 mm Ellepot.

Like all blended potting media, the peat moss in this soil sometimes grows a harmless gray mold (Trichoderma sp.). While this mold is unsightly, it is harmless and has actually been reported to have beneficial aspects for plant growth. It can be cleaned up with fungicide or plant-safe disinfectant. However, most growers just ignore it as it will usually die off naturally. For more information on Trichoderma, check out this article from ProMix.
