Herb Salvia Sallyrosa April Night Rooted Cutting Liner

For best results with Salvia Sallyrosa April Night, plant one rooted liner per 4- or 6-inch container. Use well-drained soil with a pH of 5.8-6.3, EC of 1.2-1.5, temperatures of 60-65, and light feed (150-200 ppm N). Pinch once, 7-14 days after transplanting, and use a Daminozide spray and Paclobutrazol drench to regulate growth. You may see whiteflies, aphids, thrips, and spider mites. Botrytis and root rot can occur in wet, humid conditions.

Fragrant blue-violet flower spikes bloom from April through August.

Pinch once, 7-14 days after transplanting.

Space containers for adequate airflow and sunlight penetration around the base of each plant.

Apply a Daminozide spray at 2,500 ppm weekly as needed. Use a Paclobutrazol drench at 1-2 ppm at bud initiation.

You may see whiteflies, aphids, thrips, and spider mites.

This plant can develop root rot and botrytis in overly wet conditions. Use a preventative fungicide drench at transplant. Take these preventative measures in your greenhouse:

1. Water at the base of each plant in the morning, allowing the soil to dry between waterings.

2. Provide good airflow in your greenhouse. We recommend using horizontal airflow fans.

3. Space containers so sunlight can reach the soil level of each plant.

We recommend planting one rooted plug per 4- or 6-inch container. Use a well-drained soil and completely bury the ellepot in the center of the container.
