Lofos Compact White, also known as Creeping Gloxinia, is an annual flowering plant native to Mexico and Guatemala. Suntory developed this variety for superior vigor, self-branching, and early flowering. This plant offers a trailing habit of 8-12" tall and a 12-24" spread, with white, trumpet-shaped flowers blooming from spring through fall. Lophospermum excels in hanging baskets, flourishing in full or partial sun with moderate water. This hybrid requires no deadheading for continuous blooming. Grow alongside Lofos Compact Rose for an attractive color combination. For larger baskets or a good variety for a trellis, plant Lofos Wine Red.
Sell Lofos Compact White to customers looking for an attractive annual for hanging baskets, window boxes, or a trellis. This plant offers many benefits. Its trumpet-shaped flowers attract pollinators, blooming from spring until frost. Flowers are self-cleaning, not requiring deadheading to bloom continuously. Add color, texture, and charm to a front porch, patio, balcony, or trellis with Lofos Compact White's unique blooms and long season. Create an attractive landscape by hanging baskets of Creeping Gloxinia on a porch above Hydrangea and Viburnum shrubs.
