1. Space plants 14-18" apart in well-drained soil in full or partial sun.
2. Deadhead blooms regularly for continuous blooming. Cut back plants in late summer to encourage a late bloom as temperatures cool.
3. Plant Cascadias Rim Cherry Imp in the vegetable garden to repel pests that would otherwise harm your vegetable plants.
General Growing Tips For Your Rooted Cutting Liner
For best results with Cascadias Rim Cherry Imp, plant one rooted plug per 4-inch container or three per 10-inch basket. Use well-drained soil with a pH of 5.6-6.0, EC of 1.2-1.5 mS/cm, average daily temperatures of 65-68, and medium feed (150-200 ppm N). This plant is most successfully grown in cool temperatures with high light and moderately dry soil. This plant doesn't require pinching, responds to daminozide if needed, and needs daylight extension to 14 hours. You may see thrips, aphids, fungus gnats, and shore flies. Root rot and botrytis can occur, especially in partial shade or on cool, humid days.
Flowering
White-edged bright pink flowers bloom from spring to fall.
Pinching
This plant doesn't require pinching.
Spacing
Space containers for adequate airflow and sunlight penetration around the base and foliage of each plant. We recommend spacing 4-inch pots 8" apart and 10-inch baskets 24" apart.
Height Control
Cool temperatures, moderately dry soil, and high light intensity are the best way to control growth. This variety will respond to Daminozide at 2,500 ppm if needed.
Pests
You may see thrips, aphids, fungus gnats, and shore flies.
Disease
Petunias aren't prone to disease, but Botrytis can develop in short days, low light, or high humidity. Prevent fungal infection and root rot by practicing good sanitation in your greenhouse, watering at the base of each plant and allowing the soil to dry between waterings, and providing good airflow in your greenhouse. Space containers for adequate airflow and sunlight penetration around the base of each plant.
Planting Cascadias Rim Cherry Imp Liners
We recommend planting one rooted liner per 4-inch container or three per 10-inch container. Use a well-drained soil and completely bury the ellepot in the center or evenly spaced in the container.
Rooted Cuttings
Cuttings vary in size between different plant families. These rooted starter plants will arrive ready to be transplanted in to your final container. If they are to be used in a landscape application, you will need to establish them in a 4 inch pot or an 1801 before planting outside.

Before we take this relationship any further...
It looks like this is the first time you've added anything to your cart.
We just wanted to remind you that we are a wholesale starter plant company that sells to businesses, schools, clubs, and other non-profits. State law dictates that you must be growing for resale to order from us since we are not collecting sales tax.
If we aren't a match, we understand. It's not you, it's us.
We would look awful in orange jumpsuits.
Product images shown online are intended to represent the mature, finished plant, including its expected color, growth habit, and overall appearance. They are not intended to depict the size or fullness of the starter plug at the time of shipment.
