Cora Xdr Pink Halo F1, also known as Catharanthus roseus, is a flowering annual native to Madagascar. Syngenta developed the Cora XDR series for superior disease resistance, uniform branching, and more flowers. This plant offers an upright, mounded habit of 14-16" tall and 18-20" wide, with white- and yellow-eyed pink flowers from late spring through summer. Resistant to the worst phytophthora strains, this annual Vinca brings bright color to the landscape, flourishing in full sun. Create a stunning show of color in a border or container by pairing Pink Halo with Hotgenta and White.

Coach Your Customer
1. Space plants 15-18" apart in well-drained soil in full sun.
2. Water in the morning once per week or less often in rainy weather. Vinca is moderately drought-tolerant.
3. Remove plants in the fall and dispose of plant debris to avoid disease.
General Growing Tips For Your Seedling Tray
For best results with Cora Xdr Pink Halo F1, plant one rooted plug per 1801 cell or 4-inch container or one to three per 6-inch container. Use a well-drained soil with a pH of 5.5-5.9, EC of 1.5-2.1 mS/cm (SME), light feed (125-175 ppm N), and temperatures of 76-78 daytime and 64-66 nighttime. This day-neutral flower excels with 6,000-8,000 fc. This plant doesn't require pinching and will respond to B-Nine if needed. Use a preventative fungicide drench to ward off Thielaviopsis and scout for thrips. This cultivar resists the ten most common Phytophthora strains.
Flowering
Pink flowers with white and yellow centers bloom from late spring through summer.
Pinching
This plant doesn't require pinching.
Spacing
Space containers for adequate airflow and sunlight penetration around the base and foliage of each plant.
Height Control
Use a spray of B-Nine at 2,500-5,000 ppm if needed.
Pests
Watch for thrips which often spread INSV and TSWV.
Disease
Syngenta developed this cultivar for superior resistance to aerial phytophthora, but it is still susceptible to Thielaviopsis basicola, a black root rot common among vinca, pansy, and petunia. Wilting, poor growth, and poor rooting are all potential indicators of black root rot. Use a preventative fungicide on susceptible plants, implement sanitary practices in your greenhouse, and regularly inspect your plants for signs of disease.
Planting Cora Xdr Pink Halo F1 Liners
We recommend planting one rooted liner per 1801 cell or 4-inch container or one to three per 6-inch container. Use a well-drained soil and completely bury the ellepot centered or evenly spaced in the container. Apply a fungicide drench one week after transplant.
Rooted Cuttings
Cuttings vary in size between different plant families. These rooted starter plants will arrive ready to be transplanted in to your final container. If they are to be used in a landscape application, you will need to establish them in a 4 inch pot or an 1801 before planting outside.

Before we take this relationship any further...
It looks like this is the first time you've added anything to your cart.
We just wanted to remind you that we are a wholesale starter plant company that sells to businesses, schools, clubs, and other non-profits. State law dictates that you must be growing for resale to order from us since we are not collecting sales tax.
If we aren't a match, we understand. It's not you, it's us.
We would look awful in orange jumpsuits.
